Landscaping
An interesting project was this private playground for kids of a large family. They decided not to sell the attached plot and wisely kept it for future needs. Plenty of children who wanted to play somewhere as well as parents' will to keep an eye on them put together the idea of creating this safe place where no one has to worry about passing cars or anything else. Just go out any play!
There is perhaps everything a small kid and a youngster may need - from a slide and a swing for the smallest to football goals, table tennis, and a basket for teenagers. And a small pool for everyone.
Kids have a place where they can let off steam while the parents and grandparents can have a cup of coffee or make a summer meal in a fully equipped summer kitchen in the corner of the ground. And they all can enjoy the beauty of a surrounding garden which is withstands an occasional hit of a ball.

Centrum lékařské genetiky is a unique and renowned medical centre for prenatal genetic diagnosis in České Budějovice, in the south of Czech Republic. Mothers-to-be as well as women who have problems becoming pregnant seek this place for professional help and effective treatments. The owners of this centre, well aware of the sensitivity of this matter, set quite straight-forward requirements regarding the furnishings of the building and its vicinity. Clients should feel warm and pleasant environment from the very moment they open their car doors in the parking lot, and our task was to create this green welcome all around the building and parking area.
We started in 2010 and added a bit here and there every other year. The last addition was made in 2016 and in my opinion the place is complete but you never know :-)

This garden is a typical example of a medium-sized landscape job we do for our customers. Not small, not large, just average. The customers have a newly built house near the woods and want to enjoy a flowering garden that will still have enough space for their little daughter.
The gardening work did not last more than a week. Young parents wanted to have a good selection of fruit trees and shrubs, too, so that the little girl (and possibly further kids) had something to eat fresh off the tree.

Lanscaping "a garden" at this house was quite unusual and the word garden deserves to be in quotation marks. The area for beds and borders was extremely limited. Nevertheless, the owner of the house and his wife did not want to settle for something just nice (or at least nicer than the current state) but something truly amazing. They were sure that even such space can be transformed into something worth admiring every day. That was a challenge!...more
This is how it happens - you have a large plot around your house and it is vastly covered with lawn. Even the most beutiful turf gets boring after some time so you decide to create something. And if you don't feel like DIY we are here to get on with it. These customers are our favourite - we have done quite a lot of work there already and we are pleased to be the ones they call evertime they got an idea. This time I was called to come and have a look at something they did without us ... Pity my camera refused to work the day I arrived and could not make a picture of the raw state. They got an excavator, a crane and a truck with giant stones to make something like a stony lake in the middle of mountains. I had to admit it looked fantastic. And even more fantastic was that the creator of this beauty shared my idea that planting was to be a merge of 2 styles: mountainous and Japanese. Let's see if we did it right....more

The owner of this garden is a great garden ethusiast. As soon as the house was finished she decided to do something about the garden. She bought some plants from us and planted them. After some time she felt it was not exactly what she hoped for and contacted us for an advise. When I got to know her taste it was easy to finish the landscape. The lady of the house (garden) understood my plan immediately and agreed to it. So we used specimen plants to rise up the horizons and give the landscape new levels. The most usual wish of our customers is to landscape a garden that after two weeks of work looks like 15-20 years old. This is possible using mature trees and shrubs along with "instant lawn" = turf. We like doing this because in such cases the pictures BEFORE and AFTER look most amazing....more
When we first visited the garden it already had some planting, mostly near the fence. The plants were live and reasonably healthy but seriously nothing to shout about. That was why the owners asked us to help and make it a more attractive place. Gradually it finished up in a long-term relationship with several phases of garden reconstruction. The lawn had to give way more and more plants and now there is a small private arboretum....more
