This form of common ivy has highly ornamental, deeply lobed leaves, arrow-like in Latin, that are deep green and partly glossy. Shape of the leaves may vary by location. Thanks to its unusual, decorative leaves and slow growth rate it is ideal to cover low walls or as a ground-cover in areas where leaf contrast is required. It prefers alkaline, moist, semi-fertile soil that is well drained. It is fully hardy to about -28°C (USDA zone 5b).
