Evergreen broadleaf Hedging plants |
Firethorns are thorny evergreen shrubs planted mostly for their abundant fruits, which ripen in the autumn, have amazing colours, pending variety. The hybrids are objectively selected to prevent pests and diseases.
Scarlet firethorn Ventoux Red has profusion of bright red fruits which beautifully contrast with deep green foliage. To maintain a compact shape we recommend to trim it a few times a year, but only after flowering. It likes clay, alkaline soil, and is drought tolerant.
